Regular pieces only move diagonally forward
one square at a time.
Kings are created when a piece reaches the opponent's back row. They can move any distance diagonally,
forward and backward (this is known as a "flying king").
Capturing
Capturing is mandatory. You must make a jump
if one is available.
Regular pieces capture by forward jumping
over an opponent's piece.
Kings capture by jumping over an opponent's piece from any distance along a diagonal,
and must land on any empty square after that piece.
If you have a choice between multiple capture sequences, you must choose the sequence that captures the
maximum number of pieces.
If a piece can continue jumping after a capture, it must do so until no more jumps are possible in
that turn.
Winning & Surrendering
You win the game if your opponent has no pieces left or cannot make a legal move.
If you feel you cannot win, you may press the Surrender button to concede the game to your
opponent. You will be asked to confirm your decision.
